People with mental disorders are beginning training at AMAFE, which will strengthen their employability in sectors with significant growth opportunities.
Next April, AMAFE launches Preparad@s, the new programEmployability reinforcement program for people with psychosocial disabilities financed by the ONCE Foundation.
Thanks to Preparad@s, people with mental disorders will receive the cross-disciplinary training necessary to work in sectors such as education, tourism, hospitality, and care for dependents and the elderly. It is a project aimed at people who, after having experienced a mental health problem and finding themselves inactive, wish to recover their vocational project as soon as possible through access to employment..
The participants They will receive a total of 170 hours of theoretical training along with 110 hours of practical training on the job.In addition, they will also have individualized attention spaces that allow for optimal response to specific needs that may arise during the training.
Access to employment is a fundamental right and also a key factor in the recovery of people with mental disorders.

The fundamental objective is to minimize biographical rupture and distancing from the community which can lead to the appearance of a mental disorder.
